 Just east out of Athens on Athens Highway is the Bogart version of Fresh Air BBQ. Locals and the adventurous know that the iffy looking exterior encases some of the best Q in the area. (edit: they repaved the parking lot)
Once inside, you immediately realize that you are in a BBQ house somewhere in the south. Step up to the counter and order. I don’t believe I have ever been in Fresh Air when Fox News was not playing on the TV in the corner; so, in order to keep from banging our heads on the counter, we usually order to go. Don’t be worried about the looks or the programming, the pork is worth the stop.
